First: System Objectives
1. Maintain basic system data and materials used in production, including specifications, maximum and minimum limits, reorder point, and the quantity to be ordered in each purchase order for each item.
2. Monitor item movements (additions, transfers, returns, rejected goods, and update inventory balance with each movement), and calculate the moving average price.
3. Distribute issued items to cost centers and beneficiary units.
4. Record and track personal custody, determine its value, and specify it.
Second: System Outputs
1. Inventory balance statement (by item and for all items).
2. Reorder point report.
3. Minimum threshold (critical) report.
4. Slow-moving items report.
5. Item groups report.
6. Cost report (transfer note, issue note, return, damaged, or direct addition).
7. Item movement card (addition, deletion, transfer, adjustment).
